A Keira First!

As we were sitting down, getting ready to eat our breakfast, Eric suggested that I help Keira with the blessing of the food. I looked at Keira and she started saying the blessing all by herself! It was so darn cute! She didn't need any help and she said the whole thing from start to finish. We are so proud of her.

As long as she didn't pray to the Goat-God Mandingo!

Gina, as I recall, for I am THAT old, as you know, you were not blessing the meals at Keira's age! Good for her!

When I sat down with my cup of tea this morning I said: "Oh, God, I shouldn't be drinking this!"

Does that count as a prayer?

Gina, thank you for your comments on my blog. It's good to hear from you. And also, sharing experiences about certain things, such as the subject mentioned. Yes, I'd love to hear what you think of my book. I hope you like it. About your post here, it's good, like you say! I can recall moments with our children when they came right out and did something we hadn't realized they knew how to. It's loveable. Best wishes!
